OUR MISSION
Made to be enjoyed by those from lower elevations to mountain locals, MTN Ready™ was formulated in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado, to aid in combating the negative effects of elevation.
If you’ve ever experienced altitude sickness, you know it’s no fun. It can shorten a long weekend, ruin a once-in-a-lifetime trip, or, at the very least, a great view. Our team’s mission is to create a unique, great-tasting altitude aid with no artificial colors or flavors to help keep your body feeling and working at its best. Finally, there’s a solution for the effects of altitude that’s safe for the whole family. What started as a quest to provide a simple solution grew into a desire to change the world—the inspiration behind everything we do.

THE NO NO LIST
EASY
Convenient on-the-go powder packets help you feel your best at any altitude.
EFFECTIVE
Backed by science and ingredients found in nature, MTN Ready™ uses the best ingredients you can taste and trust for a functional product that supports your daily well-being at any elevation.
ACCLIMATE SMARTER
The higher you climb, the lower the air pressure, so your body works harder to get the same oxygen levels. Our bodies can handle the shift, but they need time to adjust gradually. It’s hard to predict exactly how your body will react to high altitudes because everyone is different. Your best defense against it is not to climb too high too fast and to prep with MTN Ready™ for your journey.
Altitude sickness can occur at any elevation, especially above 4,000 ft. Symptoms may include:
FATIGUE
HEADACHE
DIZZINESS
NAUSEA AND VOMITING
MUSCLE CRAMPS
LOSS OF APPETITE
TROUBLE SLEEPING
IRRITABILITY
FAQs
HOW IT WORKS
The MTN Ready™ formula is based in science and helps to increase ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate), the energy currency in the body, especially when your heart is working hard in low oxygen environments. It also has an ingredient, glucarate, which helps remove metabolites from the body that may cause some of the adverse effects of altitude.
Yes, many people find MTN Ready™ will help if you are already at altitude. You may even drink MTN Ready™ daily while at altitude.
No, but it’s always a good practice to stay hydrated, whether at altitude or not. Drink plenty of water and use hydration drinks which typically contain electrolytes. MTN Ready™ is formulated with ingredients for combatting the specific problems associated with being at elevation. These ingredients are not contained in hydration, electrolyte or sports drinks. MTN Ready™ can, however, always be mixed in with a favorite hydration drink.
The formula has non GMO and gluten free ingredients. They all occur naturally in common foods. All ingredients are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA for use in foods.
The original formula for MTN Ready™ has a very slight citrus taste so it easily mixes into your favorite beverage.
MTN Ready™ contains D-ribose, a sugar that provides quick energy for our heart and lungs under low oxygen conditions. Dextrose (glucose) is a sugar which provides another source of energy; it is metabolized a bit slower than D-ribose. Glucarate is an ingredient that helps the body remove compounds from disordered metabolism through the liver.
FODMAP stands for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols. MTN Ready™ contains a small amount of two monosaccharides, D-ribose and glucose.
Within the Continental U.S. we offer a $5 flat rate for the 5-pack and free shipping for the 100-pack.
Surprisingly, more than half the states in the US have altitudes over 4000 ft. When you are planning your travel, you may check an altitude app to check the altitude of where you may be visiting. The states that have the highest average altitude are Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho and Arizona. Check the elevation at any ski areas you are visiting as the altitude may vary widely.

Santa Fe NM 7200 ft
Salt Lake City UT 4265 ft

Airplanes are typically pressurized to only 6500 - 8000 ft, so it is possible to feel the effects of altitude on longer flights, especially international flights. Consider using MTN Ready™ to hydrate for plane travel.
WHO IS MTN READY™ FOR
MTN Ready™ was formulated for everyone who wants to enjoy being at altitude. From attending a family wedding and sightseeing, to hiking and skiing, MTN Ready™ is there to maximize the enjoyment of life experiences.
MTN Ready™ contains D-Ribose, which is a sugar that is metabolized differently than other sugars. It actually lowers blood sugar if taken alone. The dextrose in MTN Ready™ counters the blood sugar lowering effect so MTN Ready™ is safe for diabetics and those using insulin.
At altitudes above 4000 ft, the air pressure is lower, so your body works harder to get the same amount of oxygen for everyday activities. You need oxygen to perform optimally. The process of adaptation to this condition is called acclimation and normally takes three to five days. You may feel negative effects that usually come on about 6 to 12 hours of reaching altitude.
The negative effects of altitude are dependent on several factors, including how high an elevation you are going to, how fast you change altitude and the level of activity at elevation. Some people may adapt to altitude easily; others will feel the negative effects and it will affect their normal activity for at least a few days.
Surprisingly, age and overall fitness provide little protection from the negative effects of acclimation. In fact, it may lead you to do activities more quickly at altitude and interfere with the acclimation process.
Unfortunately, there is no test to determine if you will experience negative effects at altitude. The only good predictor is if you have had difficulty in the past. Using MTN Ready™ prior to going to elevation will help your body adapt to the lower oxygen levels. If you are already at altitude, MTN Ready™ will likely provide more energy for activity at altitude and help you feel better.
Yes, children may drink MTN Ready™. The ingredients are safe and occur naturally in foods, such as eggs, beef, fruits and vegetables. The ingredients are also produced in our bodies and MTN Ready™ provides them to replace compounds that are used more under stress at altitude.
Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water and other fluids as our bodies lose water more easily at higher elevations. Go easy on alcohol at altitude as it has greater negative effects at elevation. Ascend slowly if you are feeling any negative effects. There is more ultraviolet (UV) exposure at altitude, so use sunscreen with a high SPF and protect your eyes with sunglasses or goggles.
